For Professionals:
My Practice Building Toolkit

When I started my practice, I spent hours researching tools, systems, and workflows. Some were great investments—others I wish I had skipped.

This page is a curated list of tools and resources I personally use and recommend to help you start and grow your own practice.

A few of these links are affiliate links, which means you may receive a discount—and I may receive a small benefit as well. I only share tools I genuinely use and believe in.

✨ Practice Better (EHR & Practice Management)

This is the platform I use to run my practice—from scheduling and charting to client communication and payments. It’s intuitive, customizable, and designed specifically for health and wellness professionals. Having everything in one place made it much easier to get up and running. If you're just getting started or looking to streamline your systems, this is a great all-in-one option.

When I officially decided on using Practice Better, I signed up using someone else’s referral link and saved money, so I’m happy to pass that along here. Use the link below to get up to $100 off your subscription!

Best for: Solo practitioners or small practices who want an all-in-one system
Why I like it: Streamlined, easy to navigate, and built specifically for health & wellness professionals

🛡️ProLiability (Professional Liability Insurance)

This is the insurance provider I use for my practice.

It’s been one of the most affordable and straightforward options I found, and it includes coverage for supplements (which not all policies do).

Getting insured was one of those things that felt intimidating at first—but ProLiability made it simple and affordable.

Best for: Health and wellness professionals looking for solid, affordable coverage
Why I like it: Easy to set up, reasonably priced, and comprehensive for my needs

💳 Stripe (Payment Processing)

Stripe is what I use to securely process payments from patients.

It integrates easily with other platforms and makes it simple to accept payments and manage transactions behind the scenes.

Once this is set up, you really don’t have to think about it again—which is exactly what you want.

Best for: Secure, seamless online payments
Why I like it: Reliable, widely supported, and easy to use

Feeling Stuck or Overwhelmed?

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I offer affordable 1:1 sessions to help you get clear on your next steps and set things up with confidence.

🗓️ Calendly (Discovery Call Scheduler)

I use Calendly specifically for discovery calls, rather than scheduling those through Practice Better.

This helps me keep my Practice Better plan at the lowest tier possible by only bringing in patients who are ready to move forward right away—while still offering a smooth booking experience upfront.

It’s a small shift that can actually save you money as you grow.

Best for: Booking discovery calls and screening potential clients
Why I like it: Simple, automated, and keeps systems more cost-efficient

💻 Wix (Website Builder)

I built my website using Wix, and it’s been a great option—especially if you’re not super tech-savvy. It allows you to create a clean, professional site without needing to code, and it’s easy to update as your practice grows.

It doesn’t have to be perfect to get started—it just needs to exist.

Best for: DIY website creation with flexibility
Why I like it: User-friendly, customizable, and quick to get up and running

🎨 Canva (Design Tools)

Canva is my go-to for creating everything from logos to graphics to client resources and PDFs.  Even if you have zero design experience, you can make things look polished and professional in a short amount of time. This is one of those tools that just makes everything easier.

Best for: Marketing materials, client handouts, and social media
Why I like it: Extremely easy to use and saves time on design

Final Thoughts

You don’t need all the tools right away to start your practice.

If you’re just beginning, focus on:

  • Good insurance (like ProLiability)

  • A solid EHR (like Practice Better)

  • A simple way to take payments (Stripe)

  • A basic website (Wix)

You can always layer in additional tools as you grow.

If you have questions about any of these or want help deciding what to start with, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to share what’s worked for me.
